Dr. Scott Debnam

Dr. Scott Debnam a University of Montana Wildlife graduate, has 25 years managing research colonies. He earned a master's in Pollination Ecology and a Ph.D. in Insect Physiology focusing on honeybee nest thermoregulation. As an educator, he developed the UMT Online Beekeeping program, teaching over 2,000 students globally and winning the UP award in 2019. He also teaches Practical Beekeeping UMass Amherst.

Tamila Morgan

Tamila Morgan, a University of Washington alumna, previously worked as a Flight Instructor and Commercial Pilot. She holds Master’s and Commercial beekeeping certifications from UMT and serves as a Guest Instructor at the University of Montana for Commercial Queen Rearing program and Field Days. She runs her treatment-free apiaries and has a queen breeding business in the Pacific Northwest.
